Handcrafted in Britain

THE CARRERA MISSION
Dave Carrera, MD and founder of Carrera Drums, explains why Carrera drums are so different

Like me, you probably love good drums. I mean, really good drums with the perfect combination of the best wood, hardware, build techniques and finishes adding up to a great sound. Because I couldn't find what I wanted for a reasonable price (or any price for that matter), in 2009 I started Carrera Drums. Everything had to be right, so for two years the lads and I here at Carrera Drums HQ developed designs and tested new ideas before launching to the world. Today, at our facility just a short drive from central London, we produce individually handcrafted, finely finished and great sounding drums. Oh, and they're surprisingly affordable.

Yes, Sound is our focus -- rich, punchy and tonally balanced sound. So we use select woods from sustainably-managed forests and shape these into perfectly round, hand-finished shells. Tap those shells or play the finished drums and you will hear it: Carrera Tone caresses a quiet groove or punches through high-volume crunch.

In addition to being best for value, drummers say Carrera drums are the 'Best of British'. I love this, because at Carrera Drums we are dedicated to the revival of that great 'Made in Britain' legacy…that badge of honour and excellence. Efficient and effective designs, hands-on start-to-finish everything and attention to detail confirm our commitment to traditional British craftsmanship with a modern twist. Being 'Best of British' is a matter of pride for us. It also makes for better drums. Much better drums.

So as I said; if you are like me and love good drums, really good drums that are a combination of the best of everything, think Carrera. In fact, contact us for a chat about what it is you really want from a snare drum or a complete set-up. We can make it happen.
